THE EASY-TO-FOLLOW HOME INSPECTION CHECKLIST
After the seller has completed work on the house and the city inspects it, the seller is ready for you to do a walkthrough. The city inspection only verifies that the house is built to code—it does not check for functional or cosmetic issues. So when you walk through the house, there are things you should look for before closing the deal. Don’t be surprised if, in the course of your inspection, you find 10-30 items you need to bring to the seller’s attention.
